About Melissa Baker

I began studying acupuncture and health therapies in my mid teens. Once qualified, in my early twenties, I married and started a family, after which I wished for a career that I could continue from home. In 2001, I started designing small websites and found that my talent and experience quickly grew.

I have always had a keen interest in computers and image work (my secondary and tertiary assignments were always well presented!) and have found that my path has led me towards working with these mediums. My work began with a few simple websites and then an opportunity to work with the Natural Parenting Magazine.

I focus on the creative, unique, yet clean design of websites, online and print advertising. I enjoy expanding my designs over a range of media and working with clients on a continuing basis to help them reach their business goals.

I still have a keen interest in health, parenting and family and I write articles on these issues when time permits.
